Who we are
There are six Wickham St Pauls Parish Councillors and one Parish Clerk who seek to serve you to the best of their abilities.
I’ve lived in Wickham St. Pauls since 1988 having moved down from Manchester with my job. I worked in the refrigeration and air conditioning industry for most of my working life and retired in 2016. I was on the Parish Council for several years in the 90’s and rejoined again in 2015. I really enjoy being part of this special community.
I am an Essex boy born, bred and proud of it supporting that struggling team West Ham United. I have lived mainly in mid Essex until coming to Wickham St Pauls from Writtle in 2001. I retired from IBM / AT&T in 2009 and became a Councillor some 4 years ago. It is a special relaxing village and still feel that we are on holiday here.
I have lived in Wickham St Pauls for ten years, I used to work at Marconi in Chelmsfored for 18 years, then a few other place’s. I am now retired.
I was born in Wickham St Pauls 50 years ago and after moving away for 10years I came back in 2000. After a career Facilities Management I was medically retired due to Multiple Sclerosis in 2016. I love gardening and dogs and feel very passionate about our beautiful village.
I have Lived in Wickham for 25 years, married to Paula who has lived in the village for 30 years+
I am still working in central London as a Senior Project Manager in the Construction Industry, I was the PM in the completion of the Cutty Sark in Greenwich.I have a strong interest in all things Nature and preservation of local and National traditions. I was Church Warden at All Saints for a short term. My interest are reading, fishing, listening to Prog rock and modern Jazz and a big leaning to Folk music and one of the founding fathers of the WSP chapter of the Belchamp Morris Men.
I’ve lived in Wickham St Paul for some 28 years, and continue to be enchanted by the surrounding countryside, and the pleasant lifestyle living in this special village enables residents to enjoy.
Long retired, following a career in Engineering and Construction.
Previously a member of the Parish Council and Chairman for several years.
Back in time, I was a board member of Blackwater Housing Association for some 8 years.
Diane has been the Parish Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer since January 2018. Diane passed CiLCA (Certificate in Local Administration) in January 2014 and she is a fully qualified Clerk.
